First, sign into your AudioEye account or quickly create an account with a free trial. Simply give us your name, email, and URL, pick your AudioEye plan and be on the lookout for an email in your inbox to activate your account.

Next, install AudioEye on your site. It's as simple as copying your JavaScript found in your AudioEye Dashboard and pasting it into your HubSpot website code. Check out our step-by-step instructions:

Once logged in to your AudioEye account, add your site and copy your Javascript Embed Code to your clipboard
In your HubSpot account, select the settings icon in the main navigation bar
In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Website > Pages
Choose the dropdown menu to select the domain you want to update settings for
Locate the default HTML applied to templates for the selected domains
Paste the AudioEye JavaScript Embed Code right before the end of the body tag "</body>" across all of your pages
AudioEye will now be active on your site and will automatically help your site be more accessible

What laws specifically address digital accessibility?

While there are laws that specifically mention - and require - accessible digital content, some legislation is dependent upon the Court's interpretation. For example, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) does not specifically mention digital compliance, but Title III of the ADA does require that a "place of public accommodation" is accessible. Today, Courts are interpreting a place of public accommodation includes the Internet and are therefore ruling in favor of digital accessibility.

Am I required by law to make my website accessible?

The answer varies by industry. Many organizations are required by law to make their digital content accessible. For others, Courts are overwhelmingly ruling in favor of accessibility. So, while the rule of law can be confusing, there's no question an accessible site reduces legal risk and opens a business to a larger consumer base.
